The course is designed to train airport security supervisors to supervise the application of airport security preventive measures in accordance with the approved airport security program
After completion of this course, the students will:
• Supervise security personnel at the Airport
• Understand Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensure Operational Effectiveness of Equipment
• Implement the Security Unit Rostering
• Deploy and Assign Security Personnel
• Supervise Operational Duties
• Supervise Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
The course is compliant with ICAO standards and recommended practices and GCAA-CARS.
English, Theoretical.
Module 2 Basic Aviation Security Course
5 working days – 25 hours
The course covers topics such as, but not limited to:
• Supervising at the Airport
• Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensuring Operational Effectiveness of Equipment
• Unit Rostering
• Deployment and Assignment of Personnel
• Supervising Operational Duties
• Supervising Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
• Assessment of Personnel
• The Supervisor and On the Job Training
• Incident Response Procedures
• Supervising Response to Incidents
